How events work
When a dungeon is generated, there is a 30% chance of an event, and a 20% chance of a second one. A pity rule makes them more likely the longer you go without (+15% per dungeon, guaranteed after 5). Only events allowed at the rank of the dungeon can happen, and at most one major event per dungeon.
| Event | Kind | From rank | What you see |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rule room | Minor | E | A room here follows its own law. |
| Timed vault | Minor | E | A vault of shards lies ahead. It will not stay open. |
| Theme rift | Minor | E | A pocket of another world is lodged in this rift. |
| Rival awakened | Major (at most one per dungeon) | E | Another awakened claims this rift. |
| Invincible wanderer | Major (at most one per dungeon) | E | Something no blade can wound roams these halls. Avoid it. |
| Locked dungeon | Major (at most one per dungeon) | E | The way out is sealed until the guardian falls. |
| Awakened guardian | Major (at most one per dungeon) | D | The guardian of this rift is awake. It is far stronger. |
