Editing Frost Matriarch

## Overview

Frost Matriarch is a rift guardian: the last fight of a dungeon of rank C.

## Stats

| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Rank | C |
| Level | 10 |
| Health (HP) | 900 |
| Damage | 22 base per hit |

These are the monster's own values. In a dungeon they are multiplied by the rank of the rift and by the number of awakened inside: see [Dungeon formulas](/w/overrank/formulas/dungeons). The game has no elemental weaknesses or resistances.

## Where to find it

- Guardian of the [Frozen Cavern](/w/overrank/dungeons/ice-cave) theme
- rank C fallback guardian (rift breaks)
- Guardian of [Frozen Cavern](/w/overrank/dungeons/ice-cave)

## Abilities

- **Melee**
- **Projectile**
- **FrostPetals**
- **HailRing**
- **GlacialBloom**
- **Leap**

## Variants

- Enraged (below 50% HP: speed x1.3, cooldowns x0.6)
- Summoner (at 66%/33% HP: 2 adds)

## Phases

A guardian gets angrier as it loses health: every new phase makes it faster (speed ×1.08, wind-ups ×0.92, cooldowns ×0.88), opens a new attack from phase 2 on and a signature attack from rank C. The number of phases depends on the rank of the dungeon (2 at rank E up to 6 at rank Nation). See [Monsters overview](/w/overrank/monsters/overview).

## Rewards

A guardian pays **one prize per awakened who fought it**: [guardian spoils](/w/overrank/odds#guardian-spoils) (equipment, shards, boost items, rare items), then the chests of the dungeon: [rifts guide](/w/overrank/rifts/rifts).
