Leveling: XP, stat points and skill points

How much XP each level needs, how many stat and skill points you get, and how a party shares XP.

XP to the next level

For a level LL up to 100, the XP needed to reach the next level is:

XP(L)=⌊100⋅L1.5⋅(1+1.13⋅c)⌋,c=min⁡ ⁣(1,max⁡ ⁣(0,L−820))\mathrm{XP}(L) = \left\lfloor 100 \cdot L^{1.5} \cdot \left(1 + 1.13 \cdot c\right) \right\rfloor,\qquad c = \min\!\left(1, \max\!\left(0, \tfrac{L-8}{20}\right)\right)

So the first levels are quick and the curve gets steeper up to level 28, then follows L1.5L^{1.5}. The special classes can go beyond level 100: each level past 100 multiplies the need by 1.0025, from level 200 by 1.0045, from level 500 by 1.0055 and from level 750 by 1.0065.

  • Rank bonus: +20 at rank S+, +30 at rank Nation.
  • Every stat starts at 5 and caps at 999.
  • Daily orders also give 5 stat points.

Skill points

  • 1 per level from level 2 to level 100 (99 at level 100).
  • Rank bonus: +5 at rank S+, +8 at rank Nation.

Sharing XP in a party

A party holds up to 4 awakened. The XP of a kill is not split: every member who counts gets his full solo XP for it, as if he had hit the monster, multiplied by a party bonus (×1 alone, ×1.1 for two, ×1.2 for three, ×1.3 for four). A member counts when he is within 150 studs of the monster or in the same dungeon, alive or dead for less than 10 s; the kill also counts for his daily orders.

  • A monster 3 or more ranks above you that you did not hit yourself gives ×0.25 (no boosting a low-rank friend); hit it once and you get your full share.
  • A monster weaker than your rank gives −20% XP per rank of difference, as when you play alone.
  • You never get less than what you would get alone.
