Forge, market and gear

How grades work, what the forge can do (upgrade, grade climb, reforge), and how the market prices gear.

Grades

Gear has a grade, written as a rank letter, rolled when it drops: F Trash, E Common, D Uncommon, C Rare, B Epic, A Legendary, S Mythic. Above them: EX (Limited editions, never in the shops) and SP (exclusive rewards between S and EX). An account can own several copies of an EX or SP item; only the profile that earned a copy can trade, sell or auction it. A better grade multiplies the stats and the value of the item.

GradeNameStat multiplierValue multiplier
FTrash×0.75×0.5
ECommon×1×1
DUncommon×1.15×1.6
CRare×1.35×2.6
BEpic×1.6×4.5
ALegendary×2×8
SMythic×2.6×14
EXLimited×2.4×12

How often each grade drops: item rarity tables.

The forge

The forge is in the Awakened Plaza. It does three things, and none of them can destroy your item:

  • Upgrade (+1, +2...): each level adds 8% to the main stats. Max +10, +25 for an S-grade weapon, +30 for EX and SP weapons. It never fails.
  • Grade climb (at +10): the item goes up one grade (up to S), its forge level goes back to +0 and it gains new bonuses.
  • Reforge: rerolls the bonus stats of the item (reforge table). It is the only random part.

Costs: Item and forge formulas.

The market

The market sells potions and gear of your rank. Its stock changes every hour and is the same for every awakened of your rank: each model is mostly Uncommon (D), sometimes Common, Rare or Epic, rarely Legendary. Models of a higher rank, the Nation weapons and the exclusive editions are never sold. Buying costs 4 times the rank E value of the item, times a factor of your rank (from ×1 at rank E to ×30 at Nation, ×130 for a weapon); selling gives back 80% of what you paid (or of its value for a looted item), plus 80% of the shards you put into it at the forge. See Economy formulas and the market stock table.

Slots and weapons

Weapons come in 7 styles (blade, spear, dagger, scythe, greatsword, hammer, staff) with different damage and speed: see Items. Each weapon also carries a weapon art.
